First off, I’d like to say that there is no disclosure on this post because I bought this dehydrator and it was not gifted for review. However, there are affiliate links in this post. So what this means is if you make a purchase through the link, I will make a small commission at no cost to you. Now on to the good stuff.
My Daughter and Son-in-law got this dehydrator for me for Christmas this last year and so far I love it. This one is roughly in the middle as far as pricing goes and a good one for someone just starting out with dehydrating foods.
So first, what do I like about this machine. I like that it works well. I like that it is all digital. I love that it shuts off at the end of the time all by itself so I don’t have to monitor it constantly. I like that it came with stainless steel racks for drying. This allows the heat to get all the way around what ever you put in it.
Now on to what I do not like about this machine. I have to say there is really only one thing I don’t like. It’s digital. Now I know what you’re thinking, how can that be both a like and a dislike? Let me explain. The digital temperature does not go up by each number so if you need say 260 degrees, it would have to go to 263 or something like that. It goes up by a funny number. It’s not even like 2 or 5Â degrees I want to say it’s more like 3 degrees at a time. So in this case, I don’t like it.
However, having only one dislike, I have to say that I would recommend this to you. I have been using it since Christmas and I really do like it. It works well and does what it’s supposed to do. Sometimes I may have to run it a couple times to get something really dehydrated but it I still love this thing and I still use it all the time. And guess what? It is available on Amazon.
