The Squirrel Who Worried

I’ve partnered with TomosonĀ  on this post. Meaning I received payment or free product to write this post. All views are my own.

This has got to be the cutest book I have seen for littles in a while. While I was reading this to my grand son he sat through the whole thing. This is not something he does very often. He doesn’t seem to like being read to for some reason, but he likes this book. For information the grand son is almost 3 but still non verbal.Ā  He enjoyed looking at the pictures while I read the book to him. I was surprised that he sat through the whole thing, he is very mobile and would much rather be mobile rather than sitting still.

The pictures look to be hand drawn and are all absolutely beautiful. I’m guessing the pictures were done by the author Katie O’Donoghue but as far as I can tell it doesn’t say specifically. The story is about a squirrel that worries and his friends, old and new, come to help him work through his worry so that he gather is acorns before winter.

As I said the pictures are amazing and beautiful. If you would like to purchase this book you can do so here: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/071719230

I would love to know if you buy the book and what you think about it. Leave a comment below and let me know.

Have a great day!

Renee

  1. What a cute book, it is so great to see the author broaches on a topic that many children worry about. This book helps with anxiety as well

  2. This looks like an interesting read. I agree with you that these illustrations are beautiful. Will try to find a copy. Thanks for sharing.
