So last month we planted the garden in the yard. So far it’s really looking good. This garden is set up to provide food for both us and the animals. From the looks of it, I am going to be doing a lot of canning in a couple months.

This picture only shows one side. You can see the corn and buckwheat coming up nicely. In this area is also beans, squash and lettuce.

This shot shows the whole garden. It is huge! Aarron planted so much in here it should keep us going for the year to come. Of course, once it’s time to harvest, the real work will begin to make sure that we have this food to last through the coming year.

You can see it’s all coming up nicely. I can’t wait to see how it will look next month around this time. I look forward to keep ya’ll updated on how it’s doing.
