Wax Dye

Kira and I had so much fun with this today. I got the opportunity to try out some wax dye for making candles.

This dye is amazing! The color came out beautiful and it didn”t take long for it to melt into the wax. You also only have to wait until the temperature of the wax is down to 120 degrees to add the scent of your choice. In this case my daughter chose Dragons Blood and I used Cucumber Lavender with Sage. Both came out looking beautiful and smelled amazing!

We had not made candles since she was a little girl so it was a lot of fun being able to actually do something like this with her again. I would highly recommend these dyes to anyone who wants to do a family activity. It was not hard at all to use which was a plus!
